The Institute of Employability Professionals (IEP) are excited to host Preparing for the Future of Employability: Supporting Connect to Work. This virtual session provides an opportunity to bring together professionals from across the employability sector including local authorities, housing associations, commissioners and other employability stakeholders to navigate the challenges and opportunities of a rapidly changing landscape. Together, we will explore strategies to strengthen organisations, support communities, and deliver better outcomes for those we serve.

As employability provision undergoes significant transformation, local authorities, housing associations, commissioners, and service providers are all adapting to meet evolving needs. Services are now more focused on helping individuals overcome complex barriers to achieve meaningful and sustainable work. The IEP is at the forefront of this change, offering expertise, resources, and practical tools to support organisations in creating lasting impact.

Attendees will discover how the IEP’s network can enhance employability programmes through streamlined recruitment processes, evidence-based training, and the Quality Improvement Framework (QIF), a powerful tool for continuous service improvement. In addition, this event provides a platform for attendees to engage in meaningful conversations about shared challenges, innovative solutions, and best practices.

We are thrilled to welcome Liz Millington FIEP, Senior Programmes Manager at Central London Forward, as a guest speaker. Liz will provide insights into how her organisation is adapting to change and leveraging IEP membership to empower London boroughs. Attendees will also hear from Pat Russell FIEP, IEP Chair, and James McKenna MIEP, IEP Project Manager, who will highlight the QIF’s role in driving excellence and improving outcomes across the sector.

This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with peers, gain practical tools, and expand your network within the employability sector. Whether you’re a commissioner, programme leader, or practitioner, you’ll leave with fresh insights and strategies to help your organisation thrive in this period of transformation.

Join us for this engaging session to connect with peers, expert enablers, and innovative thinkers, and to gain practical tools to help your organisation adapt and thrive in the changing employability landscape.
