Join the IEP community and our partners at our next networking event hosted in Manchester on 13th November and kindly sponsored by The Better Health Generation.

This is a fantastic opportunity for everyone involved or wanting to get involved in the Employability Sector to network and listen to expert speakers as they share their knowledge and expertise, and not to mention the chance to enjoy some refreshments on us and connect with your employability colleagues and peers.

Our very own Emma Williams MAIEP, IEP Learning Academy L&D Manager, will be presenting Seminar 1 on ‘The Hidden Price of Progress: When Pressure Overshadows Purpose’. This insightful seminar will explore the trends witnessed from a Learning and Development perspective regarding staff turnover in the employability sector. This session will delve into the challenges faced by employment advisors who need to balance the support of individuals in finding suitable work and overcoming barriers to employment, with the organisational need for outcomes while often feeling ill-equipped and overwhelmed.

Natalie Wood (Keating) FIEP, CEO at The Better Health Generation Ltd, said:

“The Better Health Generation is extremely proud to extend its support to the Institute of Employability Professionals networking event in Manchester on the 13th November. As an organisation, we have always been deeply committed to helping unemployed participants with both mental, emotional, learning and physical health barriers. Through years of working within the employability and skills sector, we have a strong understanding of the unique challenges that these individuals face on their journey towards employment and sustaining employment, and we are dedicated to providing them with the necessary support and strategies to overcome these barriers and achieve their employment goals.

“Our support is not limited to the participants alone. We also extend our assistance to the frontline staff who work tirelessly, day in and day out, to help these individuals achieve their goals and aspirations. These are the people who are on the ground, interacting with the participants, understanding their needs, and helping them navigate their way towards employment.

“We are excited to be part of the day and believe in the importance of the topics being covered at the event. These topics are not only relevant in today’s world but also crucial in the current climate where the ever-changing employability landscape and sector is facing significant challenges. These challenges need to be addressed and discussed, and we believe this event provides the perfect platform for that.

“We believe that by addressing these important topics as a collective, we can contribute to a healthier and more productive employability sector. We are confident that our collective efforts can bring about a positive change in the lives of these individuals and in the employability sector as a whole.”

The Networking Event Manchester welcomes everyone who wants to join in and contribute to the Employabilty Sector conversation. All IEP Members and non IEP-Members alike are encouraged to come along!
