The IEP are excited to announce a new partnership with Angus Knight Group (AKG) and uLaunch, leaders in workforce development, to add to our growing group of partners in Australia. The IEP will be providing essential learning to AKG’s employability practitioners over the coming months, providing frontline employment consultants with a range of tools and qualifications to deliver high-quality support for jobseekers, including those with disability and First Nations participants.
Mark Burns, Country Leader Australia for AKG shared, “This partnership demonstrates both our commitment to professional development for our own people, as well as a commitment to uplift the professionalism and standards of our industry as a whole. This partnership has a flow on effect to the people we empower to find suitable employment,” continued Burns. “We are delighted to offer the opportunity for customers and participants to engage with highly-skilled and empathetic consultants, building on our existing solid reputation.”
AKG delivers innovative employment, health, and education solutions in more than 300 locations across six countries. AKG’s 1400 specialists use their lived experience of the barriers and circumstances their customers face including those with disability, to provide tailored support and empower them to find suitable employment.
IEP’s long-standing partnerships with employability stakeholders have seen success across the globe, including in Australia, Sweden, and more recently, Canada. These collaborations continue to advance employability services and empower practitioners through targeted learning and development opportunities. The partnership with AKG extends IEP’s global mission to equip practitioners with industry-leading qualifications, enhancing the impact they have on the communities they serve.
The IEP Accredited Award in Employability Essentials will be available to AKG’s employability practitioners, enhancing their skills and foundational knowledge and building the quality of the support they provide to assist individuals facing a range of barriers to employment.
Scott Parkin FIEP, Group CEO, IEP said, “We are delighted to be working with AKG and uLaunch in Australia strengthening our long-standing relationship with AKG United Kingdom (Jobs 22). We are excited for new opportunities and further collaborations that this partnership could bring, such as the potential for co-designing new qualifications and supporting professional development through initiatives like the IEP Summit and Fellows Dinners in Australia.”
