Last year the IEP seized the opportunity to turn Blue Monday into IEP Day, marking our celebration and commitment to mental health. The significance of our blue logo extends beyond colour; it symbolises our unwavering dedication to fostering a culture where mental health takes precedence.
This IEP Day, on 20th January, we are releasing a special podcast titled The Importance of Prioritising Employee Well-Being. The podcast explores strategies for fostering a healthier, more compassionate work environment, with practical insights for leaders and teams alike. If you’re an IEP Member but haven’t signed up yet, simply email us at learning@iemployability.org to receive new podcasts directly to your inbox and gain access to our entire collection.
To further encourage awareness and action for wellbeing, the IEP is offering a special opportunity: the first 10 people who book onto the IEP Award in Mental Health this January will receive the course completely free. To enter, please email learning@iemployability.org with the subject line ‘IEP Day’, and tell us a little bit about yourself and why you are interested in the program.
Developed with mental health training specialists Big Dog Little Dog, the IEP Award in Mental Health equips frontline practitioners with tools, knowledge and resources to better support jobseekers with diagnosed and undiagnosed mental health conditions in their journey to work.
Blue Monday serves as a reminder to take steps toward mental well-being. Coping strategies include reaching out for support, engaging in self-care activities, setting manageable goals, and practicing self-compassion. It’s also a great time for employers to reflect on how they can better support their teams.
Join us in spreading awareness this IEP Day by tuning into our podcast and taking advantage of this offer. Let’s make mental health a priority not just on January 20th but every day.
