We are thrilled to announce Andrew Hills FIEP as Chairperson of our IEP Australia Board.

Andrew is a 30-year veteran of the employment services industry in Australia, with extensive experience in the not-for-profit sector, while having also served on the boards of two industry peak bodies, NESA and DEA. He is currently WCN Group Manager at the Melbourne-based provider WCIG.

“This is an exciting time for the IEP in Australia as we grow our local team, deliver our internationally-accredited training to more providers and boost the standards of employability services around the country,” he says.

“I’ve spent my career supporting providers to improve their performance and deliver better services to the community. Being Chairperson of The Institute of Employability Professionals Australia Board allows me to give something more to the sector as a whole and build our local offering.

“All our learning is evidence-based and built on global best practice. We are the only global membership Institute for employability, with almost 300 fellows who we can deploy as ‘expert enablers’. We all care very deeply about what we do.”

Andrew will lead our eight-member IEP Australia Board, which includes several respected Australian employability experts and leaders:

James Muller FIEP – General Manager of Compliance, Assurance & Development at APM
Zac Ashkanasy FIEP – Principal at Nous Group
Con Kittos FIEP – Executive Chairman of Asuria Australia
Jo Ingold FIEP – Professor at Peter Faber Business School, Australian Catholic University (ACU)
Ross McLatchie FIEP – Director of Employment at Yooralla
Pat Russell FIEP – UK Board Chair of IEP
Scott Parkin FIEP – Group CEO of IEP

The IEP Australia Board has been established to guide and oversee the Institute’s activities and initiatives. This includes setting priorities and shaping the strategic framework for IEP’s activities in Australia, fostering partnerships and exploring new approaches, and ensuring high standards of governance and accountability.

Over the coming few months we will be looking for two more IEP Australian Fellows to join the IEP Australia Board and Scott and Andrew would be very happy to have a conversation with anyone who feels they have what it takes to support the Institute in Australia.

Congratulations on the appointment, Andrew!
