The IEP Learning Academy’s Elevation Masterclass Practitioner Pathway series has reached its halfway mark, and the journey so far has been nothing short of inspiring. With four impactful sessions delivered by the IEP’s Kat Blacklock MIEP and Tracy Jory MIEP, the series has gained enthusiastic feedback and active participation from learners.
Session Highlights
- Journey to Employment: The series kicked off with “Journey to Employment,” setting a strong foundation for the subsequent sessions. This session focused on equipping participants with the essential skills and knowledge needed to navigate the employment landscape effectively.
- Optimising Your Practitioner Toolkit: This session covered the SEA framework and caseload management, as well as self and time management with the key takeaway being the powerful GROW model for coaching and development, providing a structured approach to coaching that learners found immensely valuable.
- Emotional Intelligence in Action: The third session delved into the importance of understanding and managing emotions in a professional setting. This session emphasised practical strategies for enhancing emotional intelligence, which is crucial for personal and professional growth.
- The Art of Disclosure explored the nuances of sharing personal information in a professional context. This session provided insights into when and how to disclose information appropriately, ensuring that learners are well-prepared for various workplace scenarios.
Learner Feedback
The feedback from participants has been overwhelmingly positive. Comments such as “Thank you for a really useful and informative session” and “Thank you for this session – it was really useful!”, “Really enjoyed this class”, “Thank you, really enjoyed it”, highlight the value that learners have found in the series. One learner mentioned, “Thanks for the session, such a shame I’m only booked for one. Very informative!” This feedback led to the offer of a free session, allowing the learner to continue benefiting from the series.
All learners were asked on a scale of 1-5, how likely would they be to implement what they had learned in the session with the majority rating the likelihood at a 5 and some even rating it as 5+.
Looking Ahead
As we move into the second half of the Elevation Masterclass series, we are excited to continue delivering high-quality, impactful sessions. All learners will be awarded a ‘Certificate of Attendance’ upon completion, recognising their commitment and participation.
