Our Australian team is continuing to grow, and our latest addition is Matt Crossingham MIEP. He is someone with a wealth of experience in our sector, and is ready to support our partners and fellows. Learn more about Matt from our interview below.
What is your role?
I am the new Partnership Manager for IEP Australia.
What will you be doing in your role?
My main tasks will be driving our Fellowship program, exploring new industry partnerships, promoting current providers and maintaining existing relationships.
Tell us about your background, and the skills and experience you bring to the IEP.
I have been working in education, training and employment for the past 15 years with various companies across the sector, including Novaskill and Axial Training, Max Employment, Workways, Sarina Russo, AtWork Australia, BUSY Ability and AKG.
In my time in Employment Services, I worked my way up from being an Employment Consultant to Regional Manager, have worked in specialist teams, on tenders and on projects across various contracts ranging, from JSA through to current WFA and DES. My most recent role was a contract position working on the DES tender for AKG.
What are your professional passions (sector-related)?
I am passionate about assisting people like me with lived experience of Disability and building connections to increase the employability, employer awareness and opportunities for this cohort.
Tell us a bit about yourself.
I am passionate about the work that I do each day like to be a conduit for connection and positive referrals to reduce unemployment and increase employability. On a personal level, I enjoy most sports and catching up with friends and family.
