Meet Our New Gold Graduates: Georgia Collis MIEP, third from left, Kate Baker MIEP in the middle and Michelle Jeffrey MIEP, second from right

The IEP is thrilled to congratulate The Growth Company’s Kate Baker MIEP, Georgia Collins MIEP, and Michelle Jeffrey MIEP on being the first three participants to achieve their Gold Accreditation for the IEP Award in Supporting Participants with Complex Needs. This recognition is a significant milestone, as these three completers lead the way, with the rest of the dedicated team in the photo also on their journey to complete the award soon.

Emma Williams MAIEP, IEP L&D Manager said it has been an absolute pleasure working with The Growth Company team throughout this pilot, which achieved 100% engagement in the learning process.

“They exude passion for their roles, and it’s clear how much it means to each of them to have their professional practice recognised through this Award. The sector faces difficult times ahead as we adapt to support individuals with the greatest complexity of need, so this qualification comes at just the right time in helping every frontline practitioner feel fully prepared and confident to support every participant on their caseload to make progress.”

This qualification was designed with frontline practitioners in mind, helping them tackle the most challenging aspects of their roles and empowering them to be the best they can be in coaching and mentoring participants who need the most support.

From understanding the impact of self and societal stigma, building trust, and developing a growth mindset, to applying motivational interviewing techniques and navigating feedback and conflict—this qualification equips practitioners with all the tools needed for effective caseload management and progression towards sustainable job outcomes.

“I have enjoyed all aspects of the IEP course and believe there are elements of every learning model we covered that will be usable for my job. I will be reviewing all that I have learned and look to implement it into participant meetings moving forward,” one of our learners reflected.

Another completer of the IEP Award in Supporting Participants with Complex Needs said: “I think when applying new skills, everything can be difficult, but I’m really excited to start building these into my style as an Employment Advisor, as everything is helpful in different ways and extremely relevant.”

Thank you, The Growth Company and our dedicated learners, for all your hard work and commitment to excellence in supporting participants with complex needs. Your passion is inspiring, and your achievements are well-deserved!
