Con Kittos FIEP, Executive Chairman at Asuria

We are proud to introduce you to Con Kittos FIEP, who was among the first Australian Fellows based in Australia, joining the IEP in 2021. With a career in the employability sector that dates back to 1992, Con is Executive Chairman and the driving force at Asuria, a leading provider of employment, skills and health training, globally.

Speaking on his IEP Fellowship, Con said:

“I am honoured to be recognised as a Fellow of the IEP, joining an esteemed group of individuals who have made significant contributions to the sector.

“The IEP is a vital force in supporting and guiding the employability sector, providing resources and setting standards for professionals. I am committed to ensuring our customers receive high-quality services, and the IEP’s support and guidance are essential in achieving this goal.

“Employability services are crucial for supporting vulnerable members of society, with evidence showing that employment and skills are key factors in overall health and wellbeing. Those of us working in the sector are passionate about making a difference, with Asuria expanding from being a local provider to a nationally recognised specialist in employment and skills training.

“Alongside a former colleague, I am proud to have been among the first Australian Fellows based in Australia, joining the IEP in 2021. My motivation to become a Fellow stemmed from a deep belief in the value of professional development and the importance of setting high standards in the employability sector.

“Furthermore, I was inspired to bring the IEP to Australia to elevate the country’s employability sector. The IEP can significantly improve job opportunities and provide essential support to employability professionals through professional development and global best practices.

“To demonstrate our commitment to professional excellence, all of Asuria’s Case Managers and Job Coaches have become IEP members. This initiative aims to provide our team with access to valuable resources, ongoing training, and a network of professionals dedicated to best practices in the employability field.

“I strongly believe that the IEP’s presence in Australia can have a transformative impact on the employability sector, offering a strong foundation for continued growth and improvement, and I look forward to working with the entire IEP team to support best practice sharing and skills development for the sector.”
