We are delighted to announce that Daisy Mills MIEP, Head of Business and Enterprise at RIFT Social Enterprise, is the IEP’s Member of the Month for March 2024!
A shout out LinkedIn post by Andy Gullick FIEP, Founder and Chief Executive of RIFT Social Enterprise, led to Daisy’s nomination by the IEP team.
“Daisy has been outstanding during a challenging time when we have been a member of staff down in addition to staff being out of the business for a variety of reasons,” Andy wrote.
“Not only did Daisy take on her colleague’s entire caseload, often meaning back-to-back calls throughout the day (and night!), but she also generously shared her vast expertise with our participants and received some amazing feedback.”
The Member of the Month award recognises IEP Members who have performed in an exceptional way by exemplifying outstanding service through their work and exhibiting a positive and supportive attitude which goes above and beyond. This includes services for participants, team members or colleagues. Nominations are put forward by the IEP team.
Daisy said she was delighted to have been recognised as IEP Member of the Month.
“What an honour! As a relatively small not-for-profit organisation, any sudden changes within the team are felt extra hard, so when we were faced with being a member of the team down unexpectedly, it really did mean getting stuck in, leading by example, and ensuring that we were all hands on deck,” she said.
“We made it through the busiest quarter we’ve ever had, and despite not having our usual compliment of staff, we ensured that all appointments were covered and there was no impact on our participants and the support we were able to provide for them on their journey into self-employment.
“Very glad to be out the other end and excited to focus on some new and exciting projects to come for RIFT Social Enterprise.”
At the end of the year, each IEP Member of the Month winner will be entered into a competition for one individual to win our Annual Member of the Year Award. The winner of this award will be announced at IEP Basecamp 2024.
