We are delighted to announce that Emilia Ulvstig MIEP, Career Guidance Counsellor at Folkuniversitetet, is the IEP Sweden Member of the Month for May 2024!
Emilia was a speaker at the IEP’s last networking event in Sundsvall and offered support to all members with questions about the path to work through studies. Emilia will also host the next networking event for job coaches in September. She is very engaged in the IEP’s work and is keen to continue to offer support to all members of IEP Sweden. We were very grateful to Emilia for her input to the event and her continued support.
The Member of the Month award recognises IEP Members who have performed in an exceptional way by exemplifying outstanding service through their work and exhibiting a positive and supportive attitude which goes above and beyond. This includes services for participants, team members or colleagues. Nominations are put forward by the IEP team.
Emilia said it was an honour to be recognised as IEP Member of the Month.
“I am fairly new to the IEP, but the concept and the core of the IEP is something that resonated with me. It’s only by collaboration we can reach beyond our own means, and the IEP enables such a platform for those of us who work within employability,” she said.
“To be Member of the Month is an honour that I had not anticipated, but it also cements my belief that the IEP values the individual strengths of its members and looks for ways to share these strengths with all its members. Mine happen to be the Swedish educational system and career choice, and I am happy to contribute to the greater picture that the IEP strives to paint.”
