We are delighted to introduce Varsha Patel FIEP who has joined the IEP Fellowship. Since 1986 Varsha has been Director of Business2Business, a multi award winning, mainstream and community specialist, employment, skills and health training provider.

Speaking of her Fellowship, Varsha said:

“I am delighted to be recognised as a Fellow of the Institute of Employability Professionals, joining some of the most esteemed and respected individuals in the sector.

“The IEP plays such a pivotal role in supporting the employability sector, supporting practitioners, guiding, informing and helping to set standards for the profession. It is this combination of the support we give colleagues within our business and the additional support of our professional body, the IEP, that will ensure our customers get an effective and quality-driven service.

“I have been the joint owner and Director of Business2Business since 1986 addressing the needs of disadvantaged groups. Since its inception Business2Business continues to develop from local delivery to high performing, mainstream and BAME specialist nationally.

“Employability is a critical service for some of the most vulnerable in our society and with hard evidence that employment and skills is a key contributor to health and wellbeing those of us who work in the sector are extremely passionate about what we do.

“I have been responsible for the delivery of local regional and national employment programmes including new deal, flexible new deal, pathways to work, the work programme and recently the restart scheme. In addition, I have also successfully delivered numerous skills initiatives including skills for jobs and supporting the national agenda.

“Today, Business2Business has a reputation for delivering consistent results, achieving milestones and meeting outcomes for commissioners such as the Department for Work and Pensions, the Department for Education and the Ministry of Justice.

“I look forward to working with Scott Parkin FIEP and the IEP team to support best practice sharing, collaborating with wider partnerships, growth in initiatives and skills development for the sector.”
