The IEP are excited to be sharing the Quality Improvement Framework (QIF) at the International Association for Educational and Vocational Guidance (IAEVG) Conference 2024 – hosted in Jyväskylä, Finland on 12th-14th November 2024.

IEP Group CEO Scott Parkin FIEP and IEP Sweden Partnerships Manager Annette Holmblad MIEP will be presenting an insightful workshop about how the new evidence-based QIF can be utilised for employability and careers guidance.

“The IEP QIF is a significant milestone in our mission to improve quality standards and professional practice across the employability sector. It has been designed in collaboration with many employability organisations and sector specialists, including the UK Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), to provide a framework of what works in employability practice, across organisations providing services in a variety of contexts,” said Scott.

“It applies the evidence of what ‘good’ looks like and is based on independent research and evidence from around the world, which may change over time as new evidence emerges.”

The IEP aim to bring the QIF to employability, skills and careers guidance organisations worldwide to help improve quality standards for the global sectors with the key message to all that quality needs to be part of the culture and evident everywhere.

The QIF was launched in March 2024, following many years of research and collaborative efforts from employability organisations across the UK. A QIF pilot has started in Sweden in May 2024, which will continue until May 2025 and another pilot will start in Australia in the next couple of weeks.
