It is with deep sadness that we share the news of Grant Neems passing. Grant, a cherished member of our Fellowship since 2021, has been an integral part of our community, contributing his expertise, passion, and warmth to every aspect of our endeavours.

Grant was not only a colleague but also a dear friend to many of us. His vibrant presence at our Fellows Dinners and Summits, his insightful contributions to our IEP Journal, and his instrumental role in the development of our Award in Employer Solutions, all underscore his dedication and commitment to our mission. Grant had a deep passion for employability and a wealth of knowledge and understanding to share.

Over many years in the sector, Grant ascended to the position of Stakeholder Engagement Director at Ingeus. His passion for fostering inclusive workplaces through initiatives like the Department for Work and Pensions’ Disability Confident scheme was unwavering. Grant’s advocacy for disability employment and his commitment to breaking down barriers resonated deeply with all who had the privilege of working alongside him.

Prior to his time at Ingeus, Grant’s career was marked by a dedication to service and a commitment to making a difference. From his time at Maximus to his role at Shaw Trust and later at Pluss, Grant’s impact on the employment services sector was profound. His boundless enthusiasm and larger-than-life personality made every interaction a joy, leaving an indelible impression on all who crossed his path.

As we mourn Grant’s passing, let us also celebrate the legacy of compassion, dedication, and determination that he leaves behind. Our thoughts and condolences are with Grant’s partner Lucinda, his family, and his many friends during this difficult time.
