We are excited to announce that ERSA and the IEP are joining forces to launch the Sector People Survey this July. This initiative aims to gather comprehensive data on employment in the employability sector, offering valuable insights that will benefit us all as we prepare for the future of employment support.

Why Participate?

The Sector People Survey is an excellent opportunity for the employability sector to share crucial information that will help create a detailed picture of our sector. By participating, you will contribute to a data set that will influence employment in the sector and inform sector-wide strategies and policies. This survey will cover a range of important topics, including:

• Salary Information: How much do people get paid in the sector?
• Attrition Rates: Why do people leave, and when?
• Qualification Levels: Which qualifications are prevalent, and how do they impact retention and performance?
• Professional Development: What CPD or training do organisations provide to their workforce?

How to Get Involved

To ensure the survey’s success, we need your help in nominating a lead person from your organisation to complete it. Ideally, HR and payroll personnel will provide the necessary data. Rest assured, the survey will be anonymous, ensuring the confidentiality of your responses.

What to Expect

• Timeline: The survey will be conducted during the first two weeks in July.
• Anonymity: All responses will be anonymous.
• Data Utilisation: Results will be shared with the sector, providing an employment benchmark report that will be invaluable for commissioners, academics, researchers, and policymakers.

We encourage you to pledge your participation and nominate the appropriate person within your organisation. Please provide the name of the lead person in advance to facilitate a smooth survey process.

Benefits of Participation

• Inform the Sector: Your input will help create a comprehensive understanding of the employability sector.
• Inform Commissioners: Influencing the design of future programmes.
• Shape Future Policies: The data collected will influence sector-wide strategies and initiatives.
• Academic and Research Use: The findings will be shared with academics and researchers, furthering the study of our sector.
