We believe that it is vital to recognise individuals who consistently go above and beyond and we are delighted to shine the spotlight on Mark Power AIEP, an Employment Advisor at RESTART – IPS EMPOWR, who has been named our latest IEP Member of the Month.

The Member of the Month award is a testament to those who embody exceptional service, positivity, and support within the employability profession. Nominations are submitted by the IEP team, highlighting individuals who demonstrate outstanding dedication to their work and colleagues.

Mark’s contributions to the sector and his role are multifaceted. He actively engages with IEP initiatives such as Basecamp and the Annual General Meeting (AGM), showcasing his commitment to his professional development and advocacy for the employability profession. Additionally, Mark serves as a vocal advocate for the Cert EP and was among the first learners enrolled in the IEP Award in AI for Employability Accredited Learning Programme. His enthusiasm for learning and self-improvement is evident as he integrates IEP’s learning resources into his daily role, enhancing his professional skills and knowledge.

Upon receiving the Member of the Month award, Mark expressed his gratitude and pride in being recognised for his dedication to learning and growth and credited his tutors from the IEP Learning Academy for their support and guidance, which has empowered him to navigate both professional challenges and personal endeavours with confidence. Mark’s journey with the IEP has not only bolstered his skills but has also instilled in him a sense of confidence to tackle any situation that arises in both his professional and personal life.

Speaking of his achievement Mark said; “When I found out I was Member of the Month it made me feel proud to be recognised for my effort and commitment to learning by my tutors Emma Williams MAIEP, Tracy Jory MIEP and James McKenna AIEP. I have always loved to learn and improve and have found that my IEP tutors have been so supportive and always willing to find time to help. I also get enjoyment from my progression which then just makes me want to learn more. IEP has given me more confidence and the knowledge to deal with any situation that arises. I look forward to progressing through the IEP in future.”
