The IEP are delighted to announce that two more modules in our Employability Essentials Accredited Learning Programme will be launched in May, available to all IEP Members in Sweden to access free of charge as part of their IEP membership package. We’ve had some great feedback from IEP Sweden Member, Fatme Aoudi AIEP from Branteviksgruppen who said: “I’m honoured to be considered for sharing my experience with the modules. They’ve been incredibly valuable, packed with insightful information. Even though I was familiar with much of the content, there were always new nuggets to learn, which I found immensely beneficial. These modules have definitely enhanced my understanding and skills, contributing positively to my work.”

The next two modules launching in May are:

Out today! – 20th May – Disclosure

This learning module explores the two most common areas where Participants wanting to apply for jobs might have concerns about disclosing information about themselves to prospective employers. These being sharing information with an employer about a mental health condition and the rules around disclosing a criminal record. This module helps Practitioners to feel knowledgeable and comfortable when helping programme participants to navigate the unsteady ground of disclosure.

27th May – Employer engagement

The role of a practitioner consists of many varied skills. One of the most critical skills is the ability to engage with employers to introduce and promote the services of programme providers. This module outlines what effective employer engagement looks like, ways to source vacancies and win work, and the skills, knowledge and attitudes needed for success.

Further modules in the programme will be released each week.
